Family Planning Advice
A full range of services (including the fitting of coil and IUS and Implanon) is available during surgery hours from the doctors and the practice nurses. We can also provide emergency contraception up to 5 days following unprotected intercourse. The practice nurses provide contraceptive advice and free condoms through the C-Card System.
We recommend regular smears for all women from 20-60 years and will contact you three yearly or more frequently if required.
Please see your doctor or practice nurse.
Childhood Immunisation & Child Health Surveillance
We strongly recommend full immunisation and will contact you at the appropriate times. Children under 5 will be invited to attend for the recommended programme of pre-school checks with the doctors and health visitors.
Healthy Lifestyle Advice & Health Promotion
The practice nurses and health visitors are particularly interested in encouraging a healthy lifestyle. See them for advice on losing weight, stopping smoking, exercise, or for travel advice and immunisation for foreign travel.

There is a clinic monthly for treatment of warts. Other minor surgical procedures may be arranged by appointment.
In addition to the above our nurses are availble for blood sampling, suture removal, dressings and the care of minor injuries
