If your test results show that you need more tests or treatment, we will normally try to contact you, but you should always phone us to check that your results have been received. Please phone between 2pm and 4pm after appoximately one week after the test (soemtimes longer for xrays).
If your test was requested by another health professional (for example a hospital clinic) then you should contact them directly for the test results.
Please note that we have a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection. In this respect we will only give out results to the person they relate to unless that person has given prior permission for their release or if they are not capable of understanding them.
