Practice area

The Whitesands Medical Practice area changed on 15th December 2023.  Our practice area now stops at the East Lothian county boundary and we are no longer able to register new patients who live in Borders.  We will continue to provide care for patients currently on the patient list (on the date noted above) but outwith the new practice boundary area.

The map below shows the new practice area and it is described in more detail at the bottom of this page.

The practice area follows the East Lothian County boundary along the Dunglass Burn from the coast at Ordnance Map ref NT 772 723 then along Berwick Burn to OS gridline 69, west along gridline 69, then north along gridline 60, west along gridline 72, north along gridline 58 and east along gridline 82 to the coast at Redheugh Sands.
