IMPORTANT MESSAGE – From Monday 2nd of August 2021 Whitesands Medical Practice will no longer be accepting prescription requests over the telephone. You will be able to order repeat prescriptions via online services (you can sign up to this service by speaking to a member or Whitesands Reception Team). You will also be able to hand in a request in writing or prescription reorder form to the surgery or sign up to the pharmacy lead service CMS (ask your pharmacist about this service).
WHITESANDS MEDICAL PRACTICE
If you are on long term medication, we may arrange for you to obtain repeat prescriptions without being seen. Please telephone Tuesday- Friday after 10:00 and before 17.00. We ask that no prescription requests are telephoned into the practice on a Monday.
Alternatively you can order online via patient services, please contact reception or use the link below to sign up for this service.
We will deliver to a chemist of your choice in Dunbar or East Linton.
You will be asked at times to come in for review of your medical problems. Please take note of the reminder on the right hand side of your prescription.

Please allow 48 hours for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
